That’s how long we’ve been in class tweaking our writing skills and learning the ropes of communications planning.
It’s so hard to believe we’re already nearing the finish line. In just nine more weeks, it’s out of the classroom and into the real world.
As of today, a lot of us have solidified our internships and are thrilled to be starting our careers as real-life PR professionals in a few weeks. The rest of us are still looking, and are excited about all of the opportunities out there. Patience is a virtue!
As the semester progresses, we’re being handed more and more assignments that require us to pull together all of the elements of PR we learned last semester. We’re bringing together design, writing, strategy and research to produce some comprehensive and professional pieces to add to our portfolios.
If you or your organization could benefit from having a communications intern on hand to help you out for a month or two beginning in May, we’d love to hear from you! We have so many talented individuals who would love to flex and develop their skill sets with you.
Please contact the program coordinator, Nathan Mallett (firstname.lastname@example.org), if you have any questions or requests regarding a Sheridan PR intern.
